1. What’s our definition of a ‘carer’?
    1. A carer is a person over the age of 18 who provides help and support to an individual who is in receipt of DLA (Disability Living Allowance) or PIP (Personal Independence Payment). The term carer should not be confused with a  foster carer or care assistant. We just ask to see proof of DLA or PIP receipt at the gate.
  2. Are dogs allowed in BeWILDerwood?
    1. Sorry, no dogs (except assistance dogs) – Twiggles are scared of them! However, we get a lot of enquiries from holiday makers who bring their dogs on holiday, so we suggest having a chat to a local kennel so your pooch can have some pampering. We do not allow dogs to stay in cars or on leads outside the park.
  3. What age is BeWILDerwood suitable for?
    1. The ideal age range for children is 2 – 12 years old, however BeWILDerwood is a family adventure park, which means parents, grandparents, teachers and group leaders can all enjoy the play equipment just as much as the children. We don’t want you to be sitting down and watching the kids play, we want you to get stuck in with them and run, jump, swing and laugh your day away all together! For the teeny ones we have the newly refurbished Toddlewood on the Hill and Tiptoe Valley. These are safe and enclosed area for the little ones who may not be adventurous enough to go on the bigger play equipment. Toddlewood has all the magic and variety of BeWILDerwood, just in miniature! If you have a teenager who enjoys the outdoors, has a sense of adventure and imagination then they might still enjoy BeWILDerwood. We have found that if the teenager is with younger siblings they will enjoy their day even more.
  4. What’s the average amount of time visitors spend in BeWILDerwood?
    1. Ideally we want you to stay all day! We advise that you allow a minimum of 3 hours to enjoy your time at BeWILDerwood, but most people enjoy a full day with us and never want to leave!
  5. Can I bring a pushchair or kid’s buggy into BeWILDerwood?
    1. Yes, we’re accessible to pushchairs and kid’s buggies and we even allow them on our BeWILDerboats to make it even easier for you. To see photos of the terrain at BeWILDerwood please click here to see our Pinterest board.
  6. Is BeWILDerwood wheelchair accessible?
    1. Every effort has been made to allow reasonable access to the park however, the upper woodland area, where the play structures are located, is naturally sloping and needs to be assessed as to individual needs. To see photos of the terrain at BeWILDerwood please click here to see our Pinterest board.
  7. Do I have to book online?
    1. Pre-booking is not essential but if you’d like to save some pennies (book in advance, up to the night before) then we recommend that you do so, remember you can change the date of your visit if something comes up by just giving The Twiggle Team a call! You can’t buy tickets online for the same day, so just come and get your tickets at the gate!
  8. Which structures in the park are height restricted?
    1. You need to be at least 92cm to go down any of our big slides which are found at the Slippery Slopes, The Broken Bridge and BeWILDerville. To use the Wobbly Wires, you need to be at least 105cm. Don’t worry if you are a teeny Twiggle… plenty of miniature adventure can be found at Tiptoe Valley, Toddlewood on the Hill and the Twiggle Whizzers!
  9. Can I buy a WILD WILD WILD Pass on behalf of someone else?
    1. The WILD WILD WILD Passes are photocards and therefore apply only to the person they are issued to. However, if you would like to buy a WILD WILD WILD Pass for someone, you could buy them a WILD WILD WILD Pass gift voucher which they can redeem later.
  10. I’ve been to BeWILDerwood and left something behind. What should I do?

    1. No, however we do have a bicycle shed, situated in the car park, if you wish to travel via bicycle to come and see us!
  12. What sort of clothing do you recommend wearing?
    1. Wear sensible shoes and suitable clothes for running, jumping, climbing and swinging your day away (save the stilettos for the Thornyclod). Basically wear anything you don’t mind getting dirty (that includes the adults too!) On hot days, skin should be covered, not only to keep out of sun but to protect yourself on the slides.
  13. What happens if it rains?
    1. We are in the woods so there are plenty of trees that give extra shelter during light rain or intermittent showers. Some of our structures have sails covering them so you can continue playing, however you’re better off coming prepared in case there’s any heavy rain. When it does rain heavily you may get a very wet bottom on some structures, so bring dry clothes. If it’s particularly splishy, sploshy weather then we have to close the slides for your safety, however we will aim to get them open again as soon as possible. Booooooooooo!
  14. What’s our returns policy?
    1. BeWILDerwood tickets are non-refundable. We are happy to offer a complimentary return visit in special circumstances, such as: extreme weather (e.g. persistent heavy rain/snow/hail fall for 3 hours or more), illness/injury within 1 hour of park entry, unexpected closure of the park due to matters outside the Twiggles’ control within 3 hours of park entry. 15. Can we give you feedback about our visit?
    1. Yes please! Please join our Facebook page and continue chatting with the Twiggles. We also love Trip Advisor reviews so that other people know what to expect when coming to BeWILDerwood. There will also be feedback postcards to write to the Twiggles available in the park to fill out when you have a break from playing.

  22. Yikes! Panic alarms, I’ve lost my little Twiggles!
    1. Kids tend to get very excited at the sight of the play equipment and run off into their own adventurous world. If you have misplaced your child, please speak to one of our Park Rangers on site (otherwise known as The Twiggle Team!) who will be able to radio through the park and help reunite you.
  23. Ouch – I’ve got a bump! First aid facilities?
    1. Nee Nar Nee Nar… If you hurt yourself and need help, look out for a member of the Twiggle Team who will make sure you get mended and back out playing as soon as possible! The majority of the team have been first aid trained so you’re never too far away from someone who can help.

From the tiniest of Twiggle treats to the funkiest of fun things, we have something for everyone. However, we have designed our park so that you don’t have to exit via the gift shop if you feel that the shop / tired child combination isn’t going to work for you. We also have a sparkly online shop if you forgot to visit the Bizarre Bazaar while on your day out: Visit
  26. Is there an inside play area at BeWILDerwood?
    1. We are all about being out in the great outdoors however being a natural woodland site shelter from the sun and rain is everywhere. Our canvas sail covers offer further cover from the sun and rain. The Big Hat tent is also a lovely little undercover area to enjoy a quiet spot of crafting, however, this is not an indoor area.
  27. Can I smoke or use e-cigarettes?
    1. Twiggles don’t like smoking (because it stains your teeth and makes your breath smell) so you are only permitted to smoke in the car park. The discreet use of e-cigarettes is permitted, so long as it is not affecting others’ enjoyment of the park.
  28. WiFi? Phone signal?
    1. The Boggles and Twiggles have so much fun running WILD in the woods, they don’t have time for WiFi. You may be lucky to get internet connection and phone signal, but it is a little patchy in the woods! We encourage everyone to enjoy your day out in the WILD woods and check your emails/Facebook/Twitter/Instagram at home! In an emergency we can dial out to the real world.
  29. Can I withdraw money while at BeWILDerwood?
    1. Twiggles use a currency called ‘Boblettes’ so there are no real world cash points within BeWILDerwood. The nearest cash point facility is in Wroxham. BeWILDerwood does not provide a cashback facility however cards are accepted throughout the park .
  30. Are there activities that cost extra in the park?
    1. Nope! There are no pesky hidden costs – face painting, boat rides, arts & crafts, storytelling (and any other event activity we have on) are all incloooosive in your ticket price! Yippee! This does not include gifts from the shop or food/drink – but feel free to bring a picnic! Face painting will either be at the Face Painting Pavilion or in the Big Hat (depending on the weather & time of year!) from 11 til 4pm. You can get a boat ride to the park from the jetty behind the shop from 10am, or catch one back to the entrance from the jetty by Snack Shack from 11.30am. Get crafty in the Big Hat between 11 and 4. And check the chalkboard, ask a member of the Twiggle Team or check your trail sheet for Storytelling times when you come to play!
